Born and raised in Virginia, Bill graduated from The Catholic University of America in 1994 with a double major in theatre arts and philosophy. Bill was playing collegiate baseball when he got his first film experience appearing as a utility baseball player in Major League II. After graduating Bill decided to pass on the opportunity to play professional baseball and moved to New York to be an intern on the Guiding Light tv show where he realized his dream was to be a filmmaker. He moved to California and worked as an assistant casting director on such films as One Night Stand starring Wesley Snipes, The last days of Frankie the Fly, starring Dennis Hopper, Kazam with Shaq and The Rainmaker, starring Matt Damon. His Relationship with Matt Damon lead to a three year stint as his Photo-double/Standin on the Academy award winning film, Good will Hunting and The Rainmaker, Rounders, and Dogma. His experience with Matt Damon enabled him to watch the work of Academy Award winning actors, cinematographers and directors. During this time he was able to learn by observation, gaining hands on experience by observing some of Hollywood's greats. Shortly there after, Bill worked on Amistad with Steven Spielberg and with David Lynch on Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive. Once he landed the Visual effect role of the invisible man in the Academy Award nominated Hollow Man starring Kevin Bacon, and directed by Paul Verhoeven, he realized his future was behind the camera. He took a job as a key production assistant under producer Louis D'Esposito (President of Marvel Studios) on the films Iron Man and Iron Man ll, SWAT, The 6th day, Stuart little 2, The Glass House, Sweet home Alabama. Bill also worked as a producer assistant Not Another Teen Movie and Daredevil. Realizing his skills behind the camera, Bill has found a love for filmmaking as a whole. He directed and produced music videos, working with the 1980's band RATT and composer BT. Bill has also directed the short film's Time, Fountain X, Banana Bread (official selection: Gloria Film Festival. Park City Utah) and a sci-fi zombie pilot, Aftermath (Executive Produced by Rob Minkoff, Director of The Lion King, Forbidden Kingdom). Bill's PG-13 action thriller and feature directorial debut , "Lure" was picked up for distribution by Entertainment 7. Currently, he is in production of his adaptation of best selling novel Gideon's Gift. Bill is also is in development of his faith based Drama "Gallows Road" and is currently writing a screenplay about a football team who wins a State Championship team which is based on true story. He Currently lives in Studio City, Ca with his wife Jessica and his Italian Greyhound Doby.
